Privatization
The Firm, in order to satisfy the upcoming demand of the local market, envisaged the need of expertise in the privatization field. Based on a past experience in 1999, when the Firm Advised the GOJ in privatizing the Jordan Tourism and Spa PLC , the Firm was encourage lately to participate in the Privatization of The Jordan Airline Training and Simulation Ltd "JATS", in which our legal team had assisted successfully and advising the RJEPC. Furthermore the Firm was also awarded the restructuring of the Civil Aviation Authority,

Based on a past experience in 1999, when the Firm Advised the GOJ in privatizing the Jordan Tourism and Spa PLC , the Firm was encourage lately to participate in the Privatization of The Jordan Airline Training and Simulation Ltd "JATS", in which our legal team had assisted successfully and advising the RJEPC. Furthermore the Firm was also awarded the restructuring of the Civil Aviation Authority, the mission was declared successful and completed on the 13th of September 2007. Upon the successful completion of the Restructuring, we became heavily involved during the past three years in the restructuring of the Aviation Sector in Jordan in partnership with Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC), Lufthansa Consulting and Ministry of Transport and the establishment of the Jordanian Airports Company (JAC) as a private shareholding company that is a wholly owned by the government. We drafted, reviewed and advised on the License agreement that regulates the relationship between the regulator CARC and the operator JAC to operate and run Amman Marka International Airport. We were also assigned by Lufthansa Consulting to create the corporate governance, the internal regulations, procurement regulations and Human Resources regulations.
We also have been appointed the legal advisors for the performance monitoring unit that supervises one of the largest PPP projects in Amman at Queen Alia Airport. We advise on the legal rights and obligations of the grantor, Government of Jordan (GoJ) and the Investor AIG and aid in ensuring the continued performance of the Project.
